This vulnerable age group is faced with a mixture of values typical of London’s multiculture. They need the tried and tested values of biblical truth. Our children’s ministry seeks communicates Christ in a fun, playful and colourful manner, so they can build a foundation for crucial choices in later years.

The children are taught in 3 different ages groups: Little Praisers (0-4yrs), Gospel Youngsters (5-7yrs), and Young Winners (10-14yrs). The younger children’s programme centres more on play, singing and fun whereas the older group features stronger teaching to help steer them into the right mindset as they come into the difficult years of adolescence.

Many Christian children do not successfully navigate the change into adolescence and many loose their faith. One of the reasons this happens is that their culture is usually vastly different at this time from the church that their parents attend. By holding a separate contemporary young peoples service, we seek to stay abreast with the cultural changes that unnecessarily block communication with Generation X. This provides an access service for the children who outgrow the children’s service.
